Pros of the EOR company
"Freedom Business Area"

Fast contract approval

Clients say changes to B2B contracts get approved within a few hours.

Electronic document flow

Documents are signed through Profil Zaufany, and there is almost no paper hassle.

Fast withdrawals

Money is paid out on the day it arrives, which is rare among incubators.

SMS payment alerts

The incubator sends an SMS when money from a customer comes in, which is handy if you have several customers.

Paper archive

FBA keeps paper originals of contracts, invoices and work permits, and these are needed during inspections by the tax office and other authorities.

Ready-made artifacts

FBA can prepare the artifacts, meaning the documents needed for reporting, so clients don't have to spend time on them.

Cons of the EOR company
"Freedom Business Area"

Reaching coordinators

Coordinators sometimes change or reply late, and it is hard to get through by phone.

Errors in documents

FBA sometimes makes mistakes in documents, and clients have to double-check them and ask for corrections.

Weak tax and legal help

Clients found that staff had a poor grasp of tax and law, which led to mistakes and wrong information.

Internal conflicts

There were disagreements between the incubator's owners and problems with management, which could have lowered clients' trust.

High price

Some clients find the subscription, starting at PLN 550, too expensive, especially when there are alternatives.

Ads don't match reality

The incubator advertised work with cryptocurrency, although lawyers say a company has to be listed in a special register for that, and it promised a work permit in three days. In practice, that is not how it works.

Overall Business Incubator Rating
"Freedom Business Area"

FBA has a lot of convenient features, such as fast withdrawals, electronic document signing and SMS payment alerts. Still, clients complain about communication, errors in documents and weak tax and legal help. FBA suits those who value electronic documents and fast payouts and don't need serious legal and tax support.

Resident Reviews
"Freedom Business Area"

FBA turned me down, my line of work is a bit specific.
Onboarding at FBA wasn’t entirely smooth, but that was partly down to my situation. Once the work started, everything’s been great, I’m very happy with the service.
At FBA, approving B2B edits takes literally a couple of hours, handy for quick contracts.
I use FBA and I’m happy with everything. It’s all fast and the support is good.
The guys who switched to FBA do nothing but complain. I work with another incubator, and I can see FBA just doesn’t suit them at all.
FBA’s approach surprises me. Sometimes it seems they’re busier planting stories than doing actual work.
They’re hard to reach because the phones don’t work and emails get ignored. You have to check documents several times, and the bosses are often on vacation, so without their signatures nothing moves.
My loan advisor jokes about their “professionalism.” We’ve been filling in documents for a month, and every time they get something wrong, first one thing, then another.
FBA prepared the mortgage papers fast. They scanned them in literally a day, and the hard copy arrived a few days later. The mortgage was approved right away.
FBA was my first business incubator, and I liked that there’s minimal paperwork and signatures are electronic. But they charge quite a lot for these services.
Their electronic paperwork is definitely a perk. But I’d also like to see when money comes into the account instead of constantly messaging my coordinator.
Sometimes it seems FBA themselves don’t know how to handle crypto and are just going on guesswork. They’d be better off leaving this topic to people who know it.
There was a time when the incubator sent a text when money came in from a client, and that’s handy, especially when you have several projects.
At FBA the client doesn’t print out work artifacts, their archive keeps all of it, which is convenient for tax office audits.
FBA prefers three-party contracts on its own template, while my client proposed their own version. It took a long time to agree.
If your FBA coordinator doesn’t solve the issue, write straight to their supervisor. That’s the only way I got my contract problem sorted.
Sometimes you work without a contract, and then the coordinator demands you get one done. Approving a B2B contract drags on for a month.
People recommend FBA just because they haven’t run into problems themselves. Those who know the details know things aren’t all smooth inside this business incubator.
FBA is convenient, they pay out quickly and there’s minimal paperwork. The zloty exchange rate isn’t always good, though.
I worked with them before and I don’t think anything has changed. The only thing that adds doubts is the story with the partner and the director of Twój Startup.
FBA takes care of accounting, ZUS, the tax office and contracts, and they reply within 10 minutes or an hour. But paperwork eats up about four hours a month, the CRM is clunky, there’s a lot of manual work, and the procedure changes almost every month.
I couldn’t sign FBA’s contracts with an electronic signature because their PDFs stopped working with the government website.
There are some issues with how they treat clients, so they don’t fully justify the price.
We backed out before even signing the contract, and they still charged us for an extra month, although we never used their services.
Four stars because of the poor exchange rate at their partner bank.
