Top-10 Employer of Record (EOR) Services in Poland - Review The Best EOR Companies & EOR Service Providers

This rating covers active Polish business incubators that any citizen or migrant in Poland can work with. You can use a business incubator whether or not you have an innovative idea, and whether you are still studying or have already graduated.

What is an Employer of Record?

A business incubator for freelancers, also called a small business incubator, supports entrepreneurs and freelancers, especially at the start, and lets them work without their own legal entity. A Polish business incubator helps you run your business, lowers risks and makes paperwork easier. This is useful both for Poles and for foreigners who want to legalize their activity in Poland.

startup

In essence, the business incubator becomes the employer of record (EOR) for its residents. It signs employment and civil law contracts with them and arranges work permits and labor market tests for foreigners. Incubator residents can get a Multisport card and discounted Luxmed or Medicover packages, and the business incubator pays their taxes and ZUS contributions.

human right

A business incubator for freelancers gives residents its company details for bills, invoices and B2B contracts with clients. An ordinary private person who wants to be paid legally for their work has no access to this. Clients pay the incubator, and as the EOR it transfers the money to the resident under their contract after withholding taxes and contributions.

Consulting
and Mentorship

A business incubator in Poland advises on management, marketing, finance and law. Many incubators work with mentors who share their experience with entrepreneurs.

Administrative
and Legal
Support

A Polish business incubator helps you prepare documents, register a company, keep the books and pay taxes.

Workspaces
and Infrastructure

Some startup incubators provide an office, workstations and equipment, which saves money at the start.

Advantages of EOR Companies

Reducing Initial Costs

Entrepreneurs use the incubator's services and infrastructure and spend less at the start.

Risk Reduction

Experienced experts and mentors help you avoid mistakes.

Accelerated Growth

A business incubator is useful for startups that need support early on so they can grow without repeating common mistakes.

Comparison
and Rating

stars and circles

We calculate the rating with the same formula for every incubator. It includes seven scores based on client reviews, fees, online rating, the number of online reviews and how many years the company has been in business. The overall score is half this formula and half the clients' online rating. Every business incubator in Poland has its own pros and cons that matter when you choose one.

Brief Rating

Some business incubators are made up of several related companies, and we rate those together. We take reviews from Telegram chats, Google, Trustpilot, Facebook, TrustMate and Reddit and summarize them briefly, without names or amounts.

Reviews without facts, repeats of the same story and reviews of separate paid legalization services do not count toward the score. The rules are the same for everyone. Details are on the page How we build the rating.

Twój Startup (including IT Zone)

Twój Startup is a Polish business incubator that works with entrepreneurs and freelancers at various stages. It helps with legal matters, handles accounting, takes care of residence legalization in Poland and provides infrastructure. For IT businesses and freelancers there is the IT Zone program, which includes contracts, tax consultations and access to a workspace. Among foreigners, it is the most popular business incubator in Poland.

Overall Score: 3.5 (563 votes)

Half is the average of the 11 scores (2.7), half is the clients' online rating (4.3).

"Twój Startup"

A payment from my client never made it to the sub-account. The bank ran a spot check, Twój Startup sent them the documents, but the money was still returned to the sender. Another payment in dollars has been stuck for more than two months, and the money is nowhere to be found.
I wanted to take payments through a payment system, but Twój Startup’s lawyers require a separate contract with every client, even though I work under a public offer agreement. And to connect a European payment provider, they told me to first pay for a consultation with a lawyer who would read its terms.
Opening a euro account at Twój Startup takes about three months right now, and you can’t work the whole time. Twój Startup reps in the chat don’t answer questions, they just post ads.
They told me opening the euro account would take a bit over two months, and it was open in three days. Thanks to them for that.
For three months my client paid less than the amount in the decision, and Twój Startup was fine with it. Now they’re suggesting I either terminate the contract retroactively or find the money. I didn’t expect that from a serious organization.
We spent almost two months trying to agree on a contract with a US client and got nowhere. Twój Startup insisted on its own template, also refused a three-party contract, and every round of checking edits took them at least five business days. In the end my client and I got tired of it and set everything up with another incubator in a couple of days.
I suspended my activity for three months, and in the fourth month they billed me for service. When I decided to end the cooperation, I had to pay for five months when I used neither the account nor the services. They point to their terms and conditions, so read them carefully.
They didn’t forget to fine me for a late invoice, but they did forget to make a proper Załącznik nr 1 for my contract and put IT duties in it, even though my profession is something else entirely. So double-check your Załącznik nr 1, or you might end up having to appeal.
I’ve had my Blue Card for over two years and I’m moving from regular employment to the incubator, but Twój Startup still insists on a work permit because, they say, that’s the rule for everyone with a Blue Card. That’s at least three months of waiting.
They keep charging me more than the standard rate because at some point Twój Startup applied for a work permit for me and made a long-term contract, even though I never asked for that.
For two months I haven’t been able to get a fresh certificate of no tax arrears for my residence card. The coordinator keeps sending the old one and can’t confirm a new one was even requested. The head office didn’t reply, and Twój Startup reps in the chat stayed silent too.
Twój Startup mistakenly didn’t pay the tax on my payouts on time, and it only came out in the PIT-11. Now they’re asking me to return all the money I withdrew so they can redo the transactions.
The terms at Twój Startup are decent, but anything involving the lawyers or invoice payments takes a very long time.
Turns out Twój Startup lets you add your wife on discounted terms, but my coordinator never mentioned it and kept pushing me to register a separate account. It’s a big incubator and the consultants themselves don’t know half the rules, so check your contracts.
Twój Startup has been getting a work permit for my husband for eight months now, and he had no work in that time, but they billed us for several months of service without any warning.
I’ve been with Twój Startup for four and a half years. With my first coordinator everything went fine for three years, but with the second one every month it’s either a mix-up, wrong information or a vague answer. Once the coordinator forgot to pay PIT on my umowa o dzieło, and I only noticed a month later.
My coordinator is out of the office at a training, the second one is out of the office too, and nobody picks up the phones listed on the website. Reaching Twój Startup is a problem, especially when it’s urgent and everyone’s away on vacation.
Their CRM has been down for a week, if not longer, and there’s no way to withdraw money.
Working with Twój Startup is close to unbearable.
If you need things sorted out quickly, Twój Startup is definitely not for you. I’ve had delays with payouts and even with getting the work itself set up.
With Twój Startup there’s always a surprise. After the pandemic it turned out you can’t withdraw your salary without a new permit, and they don’t bother warning people in advance. Good thing I managed to get my decision in time, or I’d have been left with no salary, unhappy and hungry.
I thought that once I’d applied for the residence card, I could keep working as before. Turns out I needed a new permit, and I had no idea. I found out from other people that you also have to keep track of this and figure it out yourself.
Trying to get a contract with my client approved turned into endless back-and-forth. I found another business incubator where they set it all up without the runaround.
Whether it’s setting up an account or a contract, you wait anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months, and for them that’s normal. Don’t expect quick answers here.
Only go to Twój Startup if you’re ready to put up with a pile of unanswered questions, they’re slow to reply. Some people do get lucky with their coordinator, so it’s a lottery.
It’s the third month Twój Startup’s lawyers can’t approve the contract, and I haven’t had a salary for three months. The client is on edge, and I’m just waiting for them to back out altogether.
Even after my coordinator changed, the problems didn’t go anywhere. They try to help, but nothing changes, it’s as slow as it ever was.
Twój Startup has a high turnover of coordinators, a new person every month, and nobody wants to dig into my case. It’s impossible to work like this.
Twój Startup is known for being slow. I found a workaround and agreed to work without a contract, otherwise it would have been completely impossible.
Unfortunately, not all coordinators really know what they’re talking about. A couple of times they gave me wrong information, which later turned into problems.
There’s some truth to the joke about Twój Startup’s blocked chakras. Sometimes it feels like talking to a wall.
Oddly, the main way to get things working properly here is to argue with your coordinator or switch to another one. They often mislead you, saying one thing while something else happens in reality. It feels like their policy is “whatever happens, happens.”
We signed the contract starting August 1, but I had to back out right away because of illness. There was never any onboarding, CRM access or sub-account, and I still had to pay.
When I terminated, they charged me for an extra month because of inconsistencies in their own termination form.
Hidden costs show up when you try to end the cooperation.
Almost three years after we stopped working together, the foundation demanded a debt for three days. They sent no proof but threatened to take me to court.
Twój Startup’s lawyers aren’t ready for contracts with foreign clients. The wording is vague, and they can’t even put together a simple two-party contract.
Things drag on for weeks, there are problems with accounting, and the membership fee keeps going up.
After I signed the contract, they stopped answering calls.
We had a dispute with a counterparty and waited two weeks for a reply from Twój Startup’s administration. They said requests are handled in order.
I only found out about the deductions from each invoice after the first invoice. Every month you have to send a pile of documents. My own JDG with small ZUS would have worked out cheaper.
Counterparties regularly don’t get the invoices, and according to them it’s always the system’s fault.
We worked with Twój Startup for a couple of years and eventually left. They’re slow to respond, and the fee keeps going up.
Twój Startup was handling my work permit, which never came through. Then they claimed I’d been working illegally and demanded I pay back a large sum.
At a meeting in the Kraków office, the staff member kept interrupting. Very unprofessional.
I used Twój Startup for over a year, everything works and it’s all legal. The contract helped me get a residence card.
I’ve been a client since 2020, and my coordinator replies quickly.

If speed of service matters to you, I’m happy with Łatwy Start.
We got a work visa on an invitation from Łatwy Start, and it all went fine. We got in the queue on June 16, applied in Mogilev on August 3, and on August 10 the passport with the visa was already in Minsk.
No problems with salary at Łatwy Start, the money arrives the same day or the next day at the latest. Convenient.
Getting set up through Łatwy Start took just a day, we signed the contract right away and got to work.
In three days they made the edits to my client’s contract and approved it, while before that Twój Startup had been chewing on it for 2 months and in the end refused to sign.
They did all the documents for the residence card in about two days, got the oświadczenie done in under a week, and I’ve already started working.
Before my visa ran out, my Łatwy Start coordinator reminded me about my status and offered to do the oświadczenie in advance. You can tell they care about results.
We talk to them on Telegram, and they send invoices the moment you ask. No delays on transfers, you just have to send the documents.
I work with Łatwy Start and there hasn’t been a single delay. They reply within an hour and make invoices fast, so there’s no comparison with other business incubators.
At Łatwy Start everything is simple, you follow the instructions and skip the extra hoops. I sent the materials and the salary was in my account the same day I requested it.
They added the copyright transfer edits really fast when the company asked. Even into a short umowa o dzieło!
Łatwy Start handled my tricky case where others just threw up their hands. They found solutions and got the documents sorted without delay.
I moved here from Twój Startup, where the delays never end. Here everything is simpler and faster, the salary comes on time and documents are ready in a couple of days.
I left another business incubator because they kept dragging their feet on documents. At Łatwy Start everything is clear-cut, nobody drags things out with documents or with answers.
I got my work permit through Łatwy Start, and the whole thing took just a couple of days, so I barely had to wait.
When I started with Łatwy Start, they sent detailed instructions on how to fill in all the details, so I had no questions left.
Łatwy Start is fine. It’s gotten more expensive lately, but compared to the others it’s still faster.
The company I work with is tied to a bank in Montreal. They were fine with working with me through an incubator, and they knew about Twój Startup (they turned them down). I sent requests to the other incubators, and only Łatwy Start adapted the contract and made a separate promissory note for me, which solved the main problems. Their lawyers are just the best!
They got my permit done in two weeks and the contract in a couple of days. I don’t get what could take so long at other incubators.
At Łatwy Start the money really does arrive on the day you request it. They transfer to PKO with no delays.
Łatwy Start drew up the contract quickly, and my first salary arrived literally a couple of days after signing.
I’ve been working through Łatwy Start for over two years, my client is from the UK. They pay out the money the same day it arrives, they’re reachable on Telegram, and it’s worth the price. The only thing I didn’t like is that my coordinator changed three times.
After closing our JDG we compared several incubators and picked Łatwy Start.
A good option for someone in IT. Invoices and payouts are all transparent.
To start working through the incubator, we sent three emails and the form on the website, messaged them on Instagram and called twice. Nobody answered for a week.

"Moja Firma"

Moja Firma finds a ton of reasons not to do an umowa o dzieło. Too many conditions, and there’s always some excuse.
When I was choosing a business incubator, Moja Firma seemed to have the most unreasonable requirements. I don’t know what their policy is, but everything is way too complicated.
I pay Moja Firma for their services, and for that money they don’t really do much. I have to handle almost all the paperwork myself.
To get your money at Moja Firma you have to wait a week and fill everything in yourself. Not the service I was hoping for.
The replies are rude, and the contact phone doesn’t work. I sent a request for a specification, and the answer came three weeks later with a mistake in it.
Moja Firma said the tax would be 6%, and it turned out to be 32%. They said they made a mistake. Sure, and who’s going to give the money back?
It’s like there are no coordinators at all. Different people answer every time, and I’m already on the fifth one about the same question.
Once I noticed Moja Firma charged more than usual for their services. I wrote to them, but never got a reply.
They won’t do an umowa o dzieło for 3 years, and the 6% tax isn’t an option either. It’s expensive and there are more restrictions than I expected.
I wanted to clarify something about work artifacts, but support only gives generic answers, so I still don’t know what to do.
I read reviews before signing the contract, and everything seemed fine. But as soon as I signed, everything went wrong.
After I signed the contract they asked for payment within a week but never sent the payment details. I reminded them and still got silence.
We only got the payment details two days after emailing help@mojafirma.org. They’re slow to react.
Moja Firma refused to set up QA work under an umowa o dzieło because it supposedly goes against their rules. No explanation, no sensible reason.
First they approved the specification, then a few weeks later they said it wasn’t suitable. No consultation whatsoever.
Moja Firma raises the tax like it’s a joke. First it’s one thing, then another, and I have no confidence their calculations are accurate.
Support gives off-topic answers, especially about work artifacts. At first they said there was no problem, and then it turned out otherwise.
They ignored my questions about tax calculations several times, and in the end I lost both money and time.
I worked B2B through the Moja Firma incubator for six years.

FBA turned me down, my line of work is a bit specific.
Onboarding at FBA wasn’t entirely smooth, but that was partly down to my situation. Once the work started, everything’s been great, I’m very happy with the service.
At FBA, approving B2B edits takes literally a couple of hours, handy for quick contracts.
I use FBA and I’m happy with everything. It’s all fast and the support is good.
The guys who switched to FBA do nothing but complain. I work with another incubator, and I can see FBA just doesn’t suit them at all.
FBA’s approach surprises me. Sometimes it seems they’re busier planting stories than doing actual work.
They’re hard to reach because the phones don’t work and emails get ignored. You have to check documents several times, and the bosses are often on vacation, so without their signatures nothing moves.
My loan advisor jokes about their “professionalism.” We’ve been filling in documents for a month, and every time they get something wrong, first one thing, then another.
FBA prepared the mortgage papers fast. They scanned them in literally a day, and the hard copy arrived a few days later. The mortgage was approved right away.
FBA was my first business incubator, and I liked that there’s minimal paperwork and signatures are electronic. But they charge quite a lot for these services.
Their electronic paperwork is definitely a perk. But I’d also like to see when money comes into the account instead of constantly messaging my coordinator.
Sometimes it seems FBA themselves don’t know how to handle crypto and are just going on guesswork. They’d be better off leaving this topic to people who know it.
There was a time when the incubator sent a text when money came in from a client, and that’s handy, especially when you have several projects.
At FBA the client doesn’t print out work artifacts, their archive keeps all of it, which is convenient for tax office audits.
FBA prefers three-party contracts on its own template, while my client proposed their own version. It took a long time to agree.
If your FBA coordinator doesn’t solve the issue, write straight to their supervisor. That’s the only way I got my contract problem sorted.
Sometimes you work without a contract, and then the coordinator demands you get one done. Approving a B2B contract drags on for a month.
People recommend FBA just because they haven’t run into problems themselves. Those who know the details know things aren’t all smooth inside this business incubator.
FBA is convenient, they pay out quickly and there’s minimal paperwork. The zloty exchange rate isn’t always good, though.
I worked with them before and I don’t think anything has changed. The only thing that adds doubts is the story with the partner and the director of Twój Startup.
FBA takes care of accounting, ZUS, the tax office and contracts, and they reply within 10 minutes or an hour. But paperwork eats up about four hours a month, the CRM is clunky, there’s a lot of manual work, and the procedure changes almost every month.
I couldn’t sign FBA’s contracts with an electronic signature because their PDFs stopped working with the government website.
There are some issues with how they treat clients, so they don’t fully justify the price.
We backed out before even signing the contract, and they still charged us for an extra month, although we never used their services.
Four stars because of the poor exchange rate at their partner bank.

Their ads promise payouts within one business day, but for the last six months more than half of my payments have gone out a day late. It used to run like clockwork.
With WeExpert, money from my client in the UAE came through in a couple of days.
I get paid via Wise, and nobody at WeExpert knows what to put in the transfer field.
Everything’s fine for me at WeExpert, but it’s better to agree on how you’ll work in advance, otherwise extra admin costs pop up later.
Everything is quick and clear. You can always reach them by phone. Support is in four languages (Polish, English, Russian and Ukrainian). If you keep talking to them, you can negotiate individual terms. They help with everything. All in all, I’m happy.
Better to steer clear of WeExpert (formerly biznes expert).
Instead of setting up our cooperation quickly, you created bureaucratic chaos with the documents.
WeExpert requires you to bring your balance to zero by the end of the month to avoid extra tax.
I’m comfortable working with WeExpert. Consultations are free, and they help you figure out the cooperation options.
I’ve been with them since March 2023. No problems so far, everything gets resolved quickly.
According to my coordinator, WeExpert now only does an umowa o dzieło for legalization for as long as the oświadczenie is valid. 😢
My coordinator says they no longer do the minimal umowa zlecenia + umowa o dzieło, because it might get refused.
Sharing my experience with this incubator ⬆️ In two years I’ve had so many managers I’ve lost count. Two months ago they assigned me a new woman who has made so many mistakes that I’m worn out. She makes up new rules, and last month she was insisting the services cost more than I pay. Several times they took money from my account without any grounds. Constant problems with VAT.
The incubator wants invoices for every Upwork order and their NIP. 🥴
Managers kept changing over two years. They refuse to book invoices for equipment and business trips, mistakes all the time, and when closing the account they messed up and I had to pay out of my own pocket.
They promised quick signing, but they didn’t accept a scan of the signed form and suggested I buy paid signing software. The manager was away for a long time, the contract was never signed, and they took a month to return my prepayment and didn’t answer emails.
I’ve been with WeExpert for almost a year. Issuing invoices is easy, the manager is always available, and transfers arrive within a day.

FDK brought in a rule that you can’t withdraw more than the amount in your contract, and they didn’t tie it to any currency, even though most people get paid in euros or dollars. They told me to guess the amount myself based on the exchange rate, and when I asked about a raise they pointed to the contract.
I don’t recommend FDK. You pay separately for every piece of paper and the rules keep changing. You can’t withdraw more than the amount in the contract, and they raised the fee though the service didn’t get any better.
FDK hadn’t accepted my invoice for two weeks, and accounting wasn’t answering emails. Turned out they’d changed the rules and every field for the counterparty in the CRM has to be filled in.
FDK is fine overall, but when I got two to three times the contract amount for several months in a row, they made me raise the amount in the contract. And if you earn less later, they’ll still calculate the tax on the contract amount.
Last time FDK sent all the documents for the application for free, and now they want extra money for the Załącznik nr 1.
I work with FDK and I like it, but only since they fixed the early mistakes in my documents. At the start there were a lot of issues.
Firma dla Każdego became my business incubator when all the others turned me down. Now everything’s fine, they pay on time and answer messages quickly.
Does anyone know how much a Załącznik nr 1 usually costs? FDK asked a bit too much for it, if you ask me.
Honestly, FDK really got on my nerves.
Funny thing happened. I asked for instructions, and what they sent made no sense to me at all. I wrote asking them to explain, and the answer was “read the instructions.”
I have problems with FDK too, because there’s no real coordinator, just a staff member who handles signing contracts. I have to deal with serious issues myself.
I never got an answer to a simple question, whether I need to pay VAT if the client is from Lithuania. They only said programmers usually don’t.
I ran my first invoice without VAT and withdrew my salary. A month later the accountant added VAT retroactively. A surprise nobody expected.
If I’d known I’d be paying 23% VAT, I would have picked another business incubator from the start. Their answers are incomplete, which later turns into surprises.
They promised to send the documents over a month ago and still nothing. Nobody picks up the phone, you wait over a week for a reply, and in the end the incubator lost my documents.
I’ve been with FDK for four years and every month there’s some problem with the payout. Wouldn’t recommend.
The online school recommended setting up the contract through FDK. I had to pay even for months with no work during the holidays, though nobody warned me in advance, and then they billed me a debt for those months.
Third month working through FDK, and compared to my own JDG the savings are big.

"Fundacja AIP"

I worked with Bizky for a couple of months. They reply and set things up quickly, but after I paid they just gave me CRM access and that was the end of the service. The CRM looks like it’s from the nineties, you create contracts and invoices yourself, and instead of answering my questions they gave me the number of a Polish accountant.
I can’t log in to my Bizky account, though it all worked a week ago. Support is an AI, and my money is stuck.
An urgent question about documents took up to three days to get answered, so I had to move to another incubator.
A payment from my client has been going through Bizky for almost a week. The hotline is only for Prime clients, nobody else gets served there.
They didn’t issue my first invoice in seven business days, and they don’t answer tickets. Phone support is only one hour a month, anything beyond that costs extra. The dashboard is outdated and there’s no mobile version.
There’s no support. Clients without Prime don’t get phone service, the support email is hidden, and the callback button doesn’t work.
They reply once a day, late in the evening. Part of my message history in the system disappeared after I asked detailed questions about the calculations.
They kept charging the Prime subscription even though there wasn’t a single invoice, and then threatened me with debt collection.
The calculations are confusing. On top of underpaid VAT when re-invoicing expenses, they added another VAT.
They changed the sign to Bizky.AI, but the system is still the old one from AIP. Half the links don’t work, there are no instructions, and documents come back without explanation.
You can’t see your balance, payouts usually take two or three days, and once the money took nine days with no response from them at all. There are sometimes mistakes in the calculations.
Compared to others, the service is a joke. I’ve been waiting three months for a refund under their terms, and they don’t answer emails.
Every operation in the portal counts as accountant’s work and they charge separately for it. Don’t recommend.

Resident Reviews
"B2B4U"

Everything’s great, the CRM doesn’t break, it all works fast and withdrawals go through, and dollar and euro accounts are opened for free right away. The only thing I didn’t like is that they raised the minimum amount under the umowa zlecenia for all new contracts.
I’ve worked with three incubators and settled on B2B4U. Here you have to calculate and set aside the tax above the second threshold yourself, and there’s no CRM with a table of all payouts and invoices, but they send me an Excel export every month, so I’m happy.
The management talked down to me and was rude, and from the first minutes it felt like the client was their enemy. In two months of working together there were regular mistakes, but nobody owned up to them, and the issues were never resolved. In the end they blamed everything on me and terminated the contract.
I left my previous incubator, which spent almost two months failing to approve a contract with my US client. I moved to B2B4U from an employment contract on my second Blue Card, and there were no issues. Day to day it’s been fine too, questions get resolved quickly.

"Rework Biz"

Good for people who need a formal wrapper for freelancing. The price is low and a legal consultation is included. Payouts are fast, and you can pause your activity for three months a year. A lot depends on the coordinator though, and things only got good with my second one.
I came here from unregistered activity. Before joining I asked a lot of questions and got detailed answers to all of them. Joining itself is easy, and the app for invoices and contracts is simple.
The coordinator is very slow to reply. Service is better at other incubators.
They’re hard to reach because the form on the website doesn’t work and nobody picks up the phone.
I came after reading lots of good reviews, but right from the first contact I saw zero interest and just wasted my time.

"Umowa.io"

They don’t offer Multisport, they just keep promising to add it sometime later.
They only accept payment with VAT, even from a client in Cyprus, while other incubators work with the same client without VAT.
I’ve been waiting for a reply for three days, and the owner never showed up to the scheduled call.
