How we build the rating

We compare 10 business incubators that let foreigners and freelancers work in Poland without their own company. Each incubator gets 11 scores from 1 to 5. The overall score is half their average and half the clients' online rating.

What we score

Seven scores come from client reviews:

  • legalization opportunities for foreigners;
  • efficiency in problem-solving;
  • supervisors;
  • payout speed;
  • exchange rate;
  • approval and signing of B2B contracts;
  • convenience of document flow.

The legalization score shows whether the incubator issues, under its own contract, the documents needed for a work permit, an oświadczenie (declaration of work) or a residence card (karta pobytu), and how fast it does so.

The eighth score is about price, meaning the incubator's fees. The last three describe the company as a whole. They are its online rating, the number of online reviews about it and how many years it has been in business.

Where the reviews come from

Most reviews come from Telegram chats where incubator residents talk about working with them. We also take reviews from Google, Trustpilot, Facebook, TrustMate and Reddit written since March 2025. Some reviews were collected earlier in chats and on forums.

We summarize reviews briefly, without names or amounts, and keep their meaning. Reviews without facts ("everything is bad", "better stay away"), reviews by employees about working at the company and second-hand stories do not count toward the score. If the same story appears in several reviews, we count it once.

Many incubators sell separate paid legalization services, such as applying for a residence card, a visa or an appeal. We do not use reviews of these services for anyone, good or bad, because we rate the work of the incubator itself. The rules are the same for everyone.

How we turn reviews into a score

In each review we look at which facts it contains and record a praise or a complaint under the matching score. One review can affect several scores, for example payouts and supervisors.

Then we calculate the share of praise. So that one or two reviews cannot give a 1 or a 5 straight away, we add two notional praises and two notional complaints to each score.

score = 1 + 4 × (praises + 2) / (praises + complaints + 4)

With no reviews the result is 3. One complaint gives 2.6, one praise gives 3.4. Nine praises and no complaints give 4.4, while two praises and fifteen complaints give 1.8. We count the share, not the number of complaints, so a large incubator does not lose points just because more people write about it.

How we score fees

We take the cheapest regular plan from the comparison table. A plan up to PLN 350 a month gives 5, up to PLN 500 gives 4, above PLN 500 gives 3. It is also 3 if the fee grows with your income. Minus 1 if, under its terms, the incubator charges extra for its own services (government fees are not counted). Another minus 1 if reviews complain about unjustified charges.

How we rate the company as a whole

Online rating. We take the average rating on Google, Trustpilot and Facebook, and a site with more reviews weighs more. 3.5 stars or less gives 1, 5 stars gives 5, and everything in between is proportional. If there are few reviews, the score is closer to 3.

Number of online reviews shows how many people have already worked with the company. No reviews give 1, up to 30 reviews 2, up to 100 reviews 3, up to 300 reviews 4, and 300 or more give 5.

Years in business. We look at the registration date in the Polish National Court Register (KRS). Less than a year gives 1, one to three years 2, three to five years 3, five to ten years 4, and more than ten years 5.

How the overall score is calculated

First we take the average of the 11 scores. Then we take the clients' online rating on Google, Trustpilot and Facebook, weighted by the number of reviews. The overall score is the average of these two numbers. We do not use sites where reviews can only be left by invitation from the company.

If there are no online reviews, the overall score equals the average of the 11 scores. If a review site or the company itself has confirmed fake reviews, we subtract 1 from the overall score.

What does not affect the score

Visitor votes under the cards are not part of the score.

The scores were recalculated on 25.10.2026. If you spot a mistake or want to share your experience, leave a review through the form on the site.
